2 weeks ago, we boarded a plane (3 actually) to make the trek across the country to warm weather. After a chaotic, stressful day of travel with 3 kids, 7 carry-ons, 3 flights, multiple delays, a marathon sprint across the Atlanta airport, and one missed flight because our sprint wasn't enough, we made it to board the boat for an 11 day cruise. The weather was beautiful (only exception being some crazy wind and waves occasionally), and we hopefully soaked up enough sunshine to make it through until summer hits N. Idaho.
We had 5 stops on our cruise: Cartagena (Colombia), Aruba, Curaçao, St. Maarten/Martin, and St. Thomas. We only got rained on once (in St. Martin), but it was a bit of a doozie! The kids LOVED the kids program on the boat - in fact it was the highlight of their trip (seriously...they ranked it above everything else!), and I've decided that cruises are the perfect family vacations!
So the next couple of posts will be all about our trip, with lots and lots (and lots) of pictures!
