Our Thanksgiving was spent with sick kids so we had a very low-key day. They were all so excited about the food, but just couldn't bring themselves to eat hardly anything. Poor boys. John decided to take advantage of the situation and have a Star Wars marathon with the boys. They thought this was an amazing way to spend the day, despite their sickness!
And really, I looked around at my little family countless times and thought about how thankful I am. Even though I am not a Star Wars fan! Preston's Thanksgiving turkey from school pretty much sums it up: "I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my friends."
My life with 3 rambunctious boys (4 if you count my husband), a crazy dog who eats anything she can reach, and more legos than I can count.

First Snow
The boys were super excited for our first snow. Me...not so much. But they do occupy themselves outside nicely (when the snow is fresh and it's not TOO cold anyway) so that's a bonus.
The first flakes started to fall as we were walking home from school, and Preston was enjoying catching the snowflakes on his tongue. We ended up getting a lot of snow, but it only stuck around for a few days (except for the piles of snow, which B tried to use as a jump for his bike!).
