"Not Crafty" Valentines

I am NOT a crafty person. Partly because I just don't enjoy crafty things, partly because I don't like clutter in my house, and partly because I have 3 young and rambunctious boys.

BUT!

Today I did something almost crafty. Amateur crafty, for sure. And to be honest, I didn't particularly enjoy it...but 2 out of 3 of my boys are skiing, and the other was napping so I decided it was time to conquer a "sort-of-craft" for the boys' Valentine's parties at school. Store bought Valentines aren't really my thing (and my boys don't know that they exist yet so no pressure to buy superhero Valentines just yet...), so I started looking for something homemade, EASY, and cute.

I found a couple different tutorials and merged them together to make these cute little guys:



Yeah, I'm pretty proud of myself. When the boys get home, we'll stuff them with a couple of chocolate kisses and a fortune. I know I probably should have had them help me make them, but seriously, it was a big step for me WITHOUT the assistance of a 4 and 6 year old...not sure my patience would have lasted through 21 of these with their help!
